PEEK artificial spine intervertebral disk

Abstract

Provided is a PEEK artificial spine intervertebral disk, comprising an upper end plate, a lower end plate, and a prosthetic disc nucleus disposed between the upper end plate and the lower end plate. The material of the prosthetic disc nucleus is biomedical stainless steel, CoCrMo, or biological ceramics. The upper end plate and the lower end plate are made of PEEK. The upper surface of the upper end plate and the lower surface of the lower end plate are provided with rough surfaces. The rough surfaces are formed by engraving by an engraving machine and spraying emery and other physical processing methods. The upper end plate and the lower end plate are fused and fixed with the spine. The prosthetic disc nucleus is disposed between the upper end plate and the lower end plate. The prosthetic disc nucleus is called a rotation core. Three-dimensional rotation movement is formed among the prosthetic disc nucleus, the upper end plate, and the lower end plate, so as to provide normal movement function of a spine intervertebral disk of a human body. The spine intervertebral disk uses the upper end plate and the lower end plate made of PEEK, so biocompatibility is good, self-lubricity is good, and is wear resistant. The prosthetic disc nucleus is good in mechanical property and high in strength. The spine intervertebral disk is characterized by simple structure, good biocompatibility, wide application range, and is durable.
一种聚醚醚酮人工脊柱椎间盘,包括上终板、下终板以及设置在上终板和下终板之间的髓核假体,髓核假体材质为医用不锈钢、钴铬钼或生物陶瓷,上终板和下终板由聚醚醚酮制成。上终板的上表面和下终板的下表面设有粗糙面。粗糙面采用雕刻机雕刻、金刚砂喷涂等物理加工方法而成。上终板和下终板与脊柱融合固定,在上终板与下终板之间放置髓核假体,也称为旋转核心,髓核假体与上终板、下终板之间形成三维旋转移动,为人体提供正常脊柱椎间盘的活动功能。本实用新型的采用聚醚醚酮制成的上终板和下终板,生物相容性好,自润滑性好,非常耐磨损。髓核假体机械性能好,强度高。本实用新型具有结构简单,生物相容性好,经久耐用,适应症范围广泛的特点。
